The levels of the Iron Horse
Each stage of the Iron Horse Challenge is a milestone in endurance riding. Complete one, and you’ll earn a certificate of achievement — a mark of respect recognized by fellow riders nationwide.

500 miles in under 10 hours
Your first step into the brotherhood/sisterhood of the Iron Horse.

Long hours, fewer stops — this separates the casual riders from the committed.
Rhodium – The Elite Ride
1,500 miles in under 23 hours
Few attempt it. Fewer still finish it.
Rhodium Subzero – The Winter Warrior
1,500 miles in under 23 hours, with at least 400 miles below 49°F
Available only from November to April
The cold will bite, the wind will punish — and your name will be remembered.
How to Prove Your Ride
You’ll need to submit:
Photos of your odometer at the start and finish.
Receipts with date and time stamps from key points in your ride.
Your documented route showing mileage and time.
(For Subzero) Weather proof showing temps below 49°F for at least 400 miles.
